Young Life Reaches Salinas Valley
Since 1970 Young Life in the Salinas Valley has been reaching young people in the communities of the Monterey County.
We have staff and volunteers that are going where youth are in order to make a difference in their lives. We have after school clubs and evening clubs that allow students from all over the Salinas Valley to attend and have a time that is filled with adventure.
ALL Youth
All youth are welcomed
Youth from all over the Valley are welcomed to attend Young Life. Young Life is for all young people, wherever they live or whomever they are. We work with students from middle school to college and have specific ministries aimed at ensuring every kid feels a sense of belonging.Young Life is in the world of high school — learning kids’ names, hearing their stories, having fun and sharing with them the great news of a God who loves them.
Campus Clubs
Lunch Clubs at schools
Lunch time clubs partner with YL to be the on campus faith club, led by an advisor, and students who are elected as officers. Young Life Staff and leaders assist and execute the club with the permission of the school and district.Leaders will engage with students and build mentoring relationships with students. Leaders will build a relationship with school administration in order to properly execute the lunch time club.Method: Young Life will always provide lunch for the students. The structure of the club consists of Games and a positive message that encourages Hope. WyldLife students elect their peers to be the officers of the club. This helps us have a team of students on campus with an advisor that will ensure we communicate what will happen on the campus club.
